William Brompton, aged 23, guilty of breaking into the dwelling house of Edmund Preece in the parish of Bitterley on 21st September 1789; and stealing therefrom a pair of leather shoes (valued at 2/-), a pair of leather breeches (valued at 15/-), a linsey frock (valued at 8/-), a linsey waistcoat (valued at 2/-), 2 hempen shirts (valued at 3/-) a linen shirt (valued at 1/-), a cloth coat (valued at 2/-), a pair of worsted stockings (valued at 1/6), 2 hats (valued at 4/6), a flannel waistcoat (valued at 6d), a silk handkerchief (valued at 2/-) and a harden bag (valued at 6d).
